Trendz
Apparels Ltd is a concern of Trendz Group, started fresh in April 2010.
The factory initially started with four lines of production of knit
garments required by our regular customers. The factory is capable to
produce 12,00,000 pcs/year of plain t shirts or tank tops now. The
target of trendz group is to develop this manufactory to a compliance
and composite factory including knitting, dying and printing along with
its current facilities of cutting, sewing and finishing sections. The
current factory is on 7,500 square feet in three floors. The factory
has medical aid, day care for labour’s children along with safety issues
for everyone. The labour issues are compliant with government rules and
BGMEA requirements.
Trendz Apparels Ltd. is supported by its sister concern buying agency
Trendz International with sourcing, technical and Quality Assurance
activities.
Production capacity & projection:
We have 4 production lines – 22 machines per line with provision for
another 2 lines. At present the factory is producing about 4,000 pcs day
(basic T shirts). Monthly t shirts supply is 100,000 pcs.
Our Products
We manufacture all kind of knitwear for all genders and ages. Our
products are t shirts, polo shirts, bottoms, sweat shirts, tank tops,
vests, intimate wear, Shorts, fashionable Tops as per buyers
requirement.
Total Export Forecast this financial year – USD 2 MILLION.
FACTORY INFRASTRUCTURE DETAILS
Location
–
The factory is located at Dakhinkhan, which is 10 minutes drive from
Dhaka Air Port.
The
infrastructure
–
The factory is situated in a 3 storied building. The first floor is for
sewing section; the 2nd for cutting section, store, sample
section and office rooms, the 3rd floor is for finishing
section, medical and day care facilities.
The sewing floor
is cool and workable using exhaust fan and natural wind flow which is
available for its location in Dakhinkhan. The sewing line gaps are made
in such a manner that the workers could move along with comfort and
easiness. We maintain the optimum level hygiene in every corner of the
factory.

SAFETY
AND SECURITY
1. SAFETY
PRECAUTION: All machineries or equipment are well protected as
per local laws as well as international factory safety guidelines.
2. BUILDING
AND STRUCTURE: Building and its associated civil structure have
been constructed for industries as per approved design of local Govt.
authority.
3. MACHINERY
AND PLANT: All machines and equipment are well protected to
ensure workers safety. Proper Bi-lingual (Bangla & English)
safety notice /instruction is set to individual equipment. No one is
allowed to use any metallic pin inside the production area. Entire floor
area kept cool with industrial chilling unit.
4. WORK-ON
OR NEAR MACHINERY IN MOTION: Proper working instruction and
notice (bilingual) are attached /put to all machineries and workers to
follow the instruction.
FIRE FIGHTING:
As per floor area,
sufficient number of different types or size portable fire
extinguishers have been placed and defined by special mark for easy
locating during emergency. Periodically local fire service or civil
defense department has inspected the production floor and given the
certificate.
SMOKING AND NAKED
LIGHT:
Smoking is strictly
prohibited at any time, on any day in the factory. Only explosion proof
light is authorized to be used in the factory.
TRAINED SECURITY
PERSONNEL:
There is a strong
security team for full time security for man and material of the company
or any anti terrorist act.
HEALTH AND
ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY:
1. FACTORY
CLEANLINESS: Factory is always keeping clean by well organized
cleaner & sanitary team . Industrial vacuum-cleaning machine is being
used on a regular basis for dirt free interior.
2. DISPOSAL
OF WASTE & EFFLUENTS: There is an insignificant quantity of raw
material (fabric & trims) waste, packaging material and fabric cut
pieces which, are disposed of through local vendor. Usually they
(Vendor) crush fabric cut pieces into cotton for various domestic &
industrial uses, packaging materials are also re-cycled for different
uses. The factory floor is free of any kind of liquid effluent.
3. MAINTENANCE
OF DRAINS: Washroom wastewater drains has been constructed
properly.
4. LIGHTING
OF INTERIOR OF FACTORY: The factory floor is lightened with tube
light sets. Factory floor, all exit & stair are equipped with proper
emergence light units. Production floor is equipped with sufficient nos.
of industrial exhaust fans for sufficient ventilation and cooling.
5.
DRINKING WATER PROVISION: There is sufficient volume of
fresh natural drinking water in Hot or Cold water stands at convenient
location of every floor.
6. TOILETS
OR URINAL: There are sufficient separate toilets for male &
female workers. All the toilets are connected with water line for
washing system to wash down the pan or commode.
7. HEALTH
CARE AND MEDICINE: There is a qualified registered Doctor and two
nurses employed for full time to assist medical and nursing to factory
workers. Apart from that we have certified First-Aid team members who
are always available in the factory during working hours.
